Introducing: Optimization Folders

In the landscape of digital marketing, navigating various ad platforms can be a complex task. From Snapchat to Spotify to YouTube, each platform offers unique opportunities and challenges. However, optimizing ad spend across these diverse platforms has been a persistent struggle even for experienced marketers—until now.

What are Optimization Folders?

Enter Optimization Folders, a revolutionary feature designed to simplify ad campaign management and maximize performance across multiple platforms. The concept is profoundly effective. Once you launch campaigns across different platforms, you can group them into these folders to facilitate optimization, analysis, and reallocation of ad spend.

This means you no longer need to juggle multiple campaigns across various platforms manually. Instead, Optimization Folders do the heavy lifting for you, ensuring that your budget is allocated to the most effective campaigns automatically.

  • Grouping Campaigns: With Optimization Folders, you can group any amount of campaigns into a single folder. Whether you're running ads on TikTok, Google, Facebook, or other platforms, you can consolidate them within Optimization Folders for smooth management and review of your important metrics.
  • Automated Optimization: Once you've grouped your campaigns and turned on Optimization, the created folders will utilize AI to analyze performance metrics and make data-driven decisions. By assessing dozens of factors, including engagement rates, conversion metrics, and cost-per-click, Optimization Folders identify the best-performing campaigns and reallocate budget accordingly.
  • Cross-Platform Compatibility: One of the standout features of Optimization Folders is its ability to work across different ad platforms. Whether you're running campaigns on TikTok, Meta, Google or anywhere else, Optimization Folders provide a unified solution for optimizing ad spend across platforms.
  • Easy reporting: And maybe most importantly, the user-friendly interface of Optimization Folders makes campaign and budget management accessible for everyone. With just a few clicks you can enable optimization, monitor campaign performance, and make adjustments as needed.

Step-by-step configuration

Prerequisites: In order to make use of Optimization Folders you must first have at least two campaigns running so as to be able to run the optimizations.

  1. Click on the "Advertising" tab in the top menu.
  2. Scroll down the page until you find the section labeled "Optimization Folders.”
  3. Click on “+Add new Folder”.
  4. Provide a descriptive name for the folder in the designated field. Optionally, upload an image to visually distinguish the folder.

If you go into your folder right now, you’ll see no information within it. So to continue go back to the Advertising tab.

  1. Scroll down the page until you find the section labeled "Recent Ads.”
  2. For each ad campaign you want to add, find the circle shaped selector located on the top right of its respective card. Click on the selector to toggle it; it should turn blue and display a checkmark.
  3. Once you've selected all desired campaigns, click on the "Move to Folder" option situated at the top right corner of the "Recent Ads" section.
  4. A pop-up window will appear, prompting you to choose the destination folder for the selected campaigns.
  5. To turn on optimizations, click on the folder and toggle the “Turn on Optimization” option on the top right of the page.

Now to check the status of the optimizations, head into the folder.

  1. Click on the folder you created.
  2. A timeline will display the evolving optimization process.
  3. Beneath the timeline, you'll find a chart showcasing each campaign's performance relative to the benchmark, along with the optimizations implemented and KPIs.
  4. Finally, at the bottom of the page you’ll find the campaigns included. To remove any just click on the same selector on the top right of its card and click on “Remove from Folder”

  • How much should I wait until I see the optimizations? It will usually take three days to analyze and start optimizing the campaigns, after that it will review and optimize every two days. After 15 days you should have enough information to decide if you wish to pause a campaign, increase the budget of another or to run another test.
  • How many campaigns can I include? There’s no limit! It’s always better to have clarity as to what you’re testing, but you can include as many as you wish.
  • Can I use the folders to group campaigns without optimizing them? Yes! You can simply use the folders to group campaigns and easily compare their main KPIs.
