We started Plai because marketing got way too complicated. Match types, bidding strategies, endless tutorials — it felt like you needed a PhD just to run an ad. We thought, there’s gotta be a better way. So we built it.
In 2020, we grew a community of 500K+ followers by breaking down marketing strategies in a way that actually made sense — racking up millions of views along the way. Then in 2021, we joined Y Combinator, raised support from legends like Live Nation, Hawke Media, and even the creators of Google AdSense, and we were just getting started.
Fast-forward: we’ve been featured in Search Engine Journal, Ad Age, named a Top Martech Startup of 2024, and hit #3 Product of the Day on Product Hunt.
But titles aside, what we really care about is helping brands grow without the BS.
Our team has built ad products at Google and Facebook, trained marketers globally through Google Academy for Ads, and worked with everyone from eCommerce brands to agencies and creators. We’ve taken all that experience — all the best practices — and baked them into Plai.
